News, via The Register’s highly respected US based correspondent -  Dan Goodin, of severe vulnerabilities extant in the widely deployed Open Source Software OpenSSL secure tunneling interface… University of Michigan computer scientists have cracked the public key cryptologic underpinnings of  the product.
