Smacked By Mikeyy Worm On Friday, Twitter Signs One Millionth User…
Twitter, the nearly ubiquitous micro-blogging platform, succumbed, again, to a Mikeyy worm attack on Friday 2009/04/17, just as the service signed it’s one millionth user. Coupled with the appearance of Oprah Winfrey, the 140 character messaging service has certainly had a busy week. An exciting time for social networks; more so with new attack vectors coming into play almost weekly. Can Twitter security staff and developers keep up? Perhaps, just as importantly, will users tolerate further security related issues?
