Outstanding News! The RSA® Conference has  announced the availability of a Special Scholarship Program for Security Professionals. The program targets security professionals who may have been recently become unemployed during our economic challenges. Further information, including form submittal linkage appears after the jump.

RSA® Conference 2009 Special Scholarship Program

To provide support for information security practitioners who have lost their jobs due to the economic environment, RSA® Conference is pleased to offer this special scholarship. Please fill out the application form and submit to win one of 25 full conference delegate passes* being provided by the Conference. Winners will be chosen at the discretion of RSA Conference.

Criteria to receive a scholarship include:

• Must be an information security professional (practitioner, security architect or similar role);
• Must have attended the 2007 or 2008 RSA Conference as a full conference delegate;
• Complete a 1000 character explanation on “Why I need to attend RSA Conference 2009”; and
• Complete a 750 character biography to verify their role as security practitioners

Entrants have until 5:00 PM Pacific on Thursday, April 2, to submit the requested information. Twenty-five qualified entrants will be selected and notified on Friday, April 3, that they have received a free delegate pass* to RSA Conference 2009.
