Genius: Nikola Tesla

Infosecurity.US continues our Genius Series, this time focusing on Nikola Tesla, inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, visionary and most likely, the key to all things electrical in our world today (and thereby the physical foundation of our current information centric society). The inventor of the AC electrical delivery system, his numerous inventions are legendary.

Tesla is one of three American scientists to have a scientific unit named after him – the  unit of measurement related to magnetic flux density or magnetic induction, the tesla, was named in his honor (at the Conférence Générale des Poids et Mesures in 1960). A couple of enlightening videos detailing Tesla’s life and inventions appear after the jump.
