Oracle, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Updated – Cluster Manager Patched

Oracle Corporation (NasdaqGS: ORCL) has released the company’s latest Enterprise Linux patch; this time, the Cluster Manager utility (cman) has been revved. The utility provides user-level services for managing a Linux cluster. This update adds support for power cycle commands, in relation to BMC Controller code. The updates to Oracle’s Enterprise Linux operating system are available via the company’s Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN) site. Oracle Enterprise Linux is a variant of RED HAT, INC.’s (NYSE: RHT) Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS. More information comprising release notes and links, et cetera, after the jump.
