Oracle Updates Enterprise Linux – tzdata Modified

By Marc Handelman on August 17th, 2009

TUZ

Oracle Corporation (NasdaqGS: ORCL) has released new Enterprise Linux  updates, this time mitigating issues with time zone related code challenges (in support of Bangladeshi DST timezone switch, the latest Dhaka POSIX binary data support, an update to support time zone mods for Egypt, as well as the recent dropping of DST observance by Mauritius). The updates to Oracle’s Enterprise Linux operating system are available via the company’s Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN) site. Oracle Enterprise Linux is a variant of RED HAT, INC.’s (NYSE: RHT)  Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS. Additional information consisting of release notes and links appears after the jump.
